Interview with Jim Morell

Description

Jim Morell is one of the builders of the Canada Games, and a Hall of Honour inductee. His interest in amateur sports began when he helped plan the 1969 Canada Games in Dartmouth-Halifax. In this interview, Jim tells us how he became the Director of Sport in New Brunswick's Department of Youth, which led him into Canada Games work from a government perspective. A Mission member, Chef de Mission, and all-around "government V.I.P." for New Brunswick, Jim helped plan a total of 11 Canada Games between 1969 - 1995.
