An Olympic athlete, Diane Jones Konihowski is a Saskatchewan treasure, participating in the first Canada Summer and Winter Games in 1967 and 1969 for Team Saskatchewan. She went on to earn medals for Canada as a pentathlete in international competitions including the Commonwealth and Pan-American Games, and competed for Canada at the 1972 and 1976 Olympics.
