Carla Macleod is a women's hockey player from Alberta, playing for Team Canada at the Olympic level and helping them win gold in both 2006 and 2010. Carla competed as an athlete at the Canada Games in her youth, and returned to the Games in 2019 as a women's hockey coach. She was also inducted into the Games Hall of Honour in 2017. In this interview, Carla talks about what it was like to play hockey for Team Alberta at the Canada Games, how the sport of women's hockey has evolved over her career, and how she coaches young women today to achieve success in the sport.
