Sanjay Jeram is a former Canada Games athlete, attending the 1997 Canada Summer Games in Brandon, Manitoba as a singles tennis player. Raised in Toronto, Sanjay describes the cultural differences he saw between the two cities, and recalls what it was like to compete for Team Ontario as a teenager. He also explains how his Canada Games experience impacted his view of what it meant to be Canadian.
