Description

Piers McDonald was the President of the Host Society for the 2007 Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon. In this interview, Piers shares his experiences and challenges in hosting the Canada Games for the first time north of 60th parallel. As Premier of Yukon from 1996 to 2000, Piers was influential in the bidding and organization leading up to the 2007 Games, which has become cited by many as the most memorable Canada Games to date.
